The Friends of West Memphis Public Library is an organization formed to support the library. The Friends assist the library both through service and fund raising. Past projects have included getting out the vote for library issues, volunteering in the library to allow staff to attend in-service education, and tag sales to raise funds. The Friends also publicize and provide refreshments for the monthly book review. Gifts have ranged from library furniture to support to children's programming. |
